Workforce Development Worksource Maui is a division of the State of Hawaii’s Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. As an American Job Center, it is dedicated to providing access to an integrated array of labor exchange services. Job seekers, workers and employers can find the services they need in a single location and access multiple employment programs.
Jobseeker services include:
- Registration on HireNet Hawaii (an Internet based system)
- Assistance with job search and placement
- Career planning and counseling
- Access to labor market information
- Referrals to public assistance agencies & financial aid/educational programs
- Information about job training opportunities for eligible participants
- Assistance with unemployment insurance requirements
- Access to the self-service resource room
Employer services include:
- Posting and managing job orders
- Researching labor market information
- Reimbursement for employer-driven on-the-job training
- Upgrade employee skills using instructors at selected training agencies
