Social Security is celebrating “National my Social Security Week” from April 4 – 13, 2016 and using this opportunity to help generate awareness of the benefits of establishing and using your my Social Security online account.  They will be on the Mānoa campus on April 5 and 7 to assist you with establishing your Social Security online account and to answer questions you may have.

With a my Social Security account you can:

  • Get your online Social Security Statement

  • Verify your lifetime earnings

  • See estimates of your future benefits

  • Request a replacement Social Security card if you meet certain requirements.

  • Manage your benefits, and so much more

For a hands-on workshop they will be at the Information Technology Center, Computer Training Lab on April 5, 2016.  Register for a time slot at:

If you are confirmed to attend, please bring with you, your driver’s license or State ID.  You should also think about what you want for your username and password.  Username must be 8 to 20 letters and/or numbers and your password must be at least 8 characters with at least one capital letter, one lowercase letter and one symbol to access your online account.

On April 7, 2016, Social Security will have a table at the Mānoa Campus Center (near Starbucks and Jamba Juice) from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.  Please stop by at your convenience.
